WHERE DOES MANUKA HONEY COME FROM?

Manuka honey comes from New Zealand, where it is harvested from the nectar of the flowers of the Manuka tree(Leptospermum scoparium). This tree grows mainly in unspoilt natural areas, providing an ideal environment for producing a unique, authentic honey.

WHAT DO UMF® AND MGO® CERTIFICATIONS MEAN?

UMF® (Unique Manuka Factor) and MGO (methylglyoxal) certifications guarantee the quality and authenticity of Manuka honey:

  • UMF®: Assesses the purity and concentration of natural honey compounds, including MGO.
  • MGO: Precisely indicates the level of methylglyoxal, a key component that distinguishes Manuka honey from other honeys.
